Like any young puppy, she is curious about the world and excited to experience everything it has to offer.Leinie loves to play, enjoys attention, and has the typical puppy combination of fun, curiosity, and plenty of nap time. She is learning what it means to be a family dog and is ready for someone who will patiently help her learn and grow.At her age, Leinie is still working on all of her puppy skills. Her new family should be prepared to continue working on potty training, crate training, leash manners, basic obedience, and socialization. She will need plenty of positive guidance, patience, playtime, and opportunities to explore safely.Leinie does well with other dogs, cats with proper introductions, and kids. As she grows, continued positive socialization will help her become the confident and well-rounded adult dog everyone hopes she will be.Leinie had an uncertain start, but that is behind her now. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse $125 for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. We recommend going to HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI for the most affordable option.
