About Me-

Hi, I'm Hershey! Around here they call me Sweet 'n Spicy. I'm a young, playful guy that you might call.... quirky? I love to cuddle and will glue myself to you for the night if you'll let me sleep in bed with you.

I'm quite chatty and will verbalize my feelings to you if you talk to me. I love toys and chewing on things, and I'm still learning what is acceptable and what isn't so I appreciate when I'm given specific things to chew on. I LOVE treats but I'm working on taking them more gently!

Now my dislikes: I don't really like it when people take things away from me, especially if I feel like they are important! I don't like being left alone, and I'm learning not to scratch on the door when the people leave. It might be a touch of separation anxiety, but I do pretty well if you leave me in a kennel when you leave, especially if there's something for me to chew on to keep me busy!

The dogs around here are kind of fuddy duddies and don't really appreciate my puppy energy. I like to give the old guys a piece of my mind about that, but I'm more polite with the ladies.

I can be a little growly if your doing things with me I don't like, like clippig nails brushing my face, but I'm still learning.  Due to this, a home with no kids is best. I haven't met any cats since I've been here, but I get along fine with the doggos; I just wish someone would play with me.

Potty trained? Well, I am mostly. I was not well cared for before joining my foster family, and a lot stems from that. I need to be shown what life is supposed to be like for a dog, and not something disposable.

I love to run zoomies and if someone would take me for walks I would LOVE that! Do you think I would be a good fit for you? Let's talk about it!
