Our hearts go out to sweet 10-month-old Echo, a gorgeous Shepherd mix who has had a really tough chapter lately. When her family tragically lost their home, Echo found herself living in a car alongside them. Wanting a better, more secure life for their beloved pup, her family made the selfless and heartbreaking decision to surrender her to our rescue so she could find a fresh start.

Understandably, Echo is still a bit shy and confused about why her whole world turned upside down. But beneath that initial timidness is a deeply affectionate girl who simply adores love. Echo’s absolute favorite thing in the world is getting big, warm hugs—especially from young girls! Since she grew up with a 13-year-old human sister in her previous home, she has a very special soft spot for kids and finds so much comfort in their presence.

Echo is looking for a patient, loving family to wrap their arms around her and show her that she is safe and secure forever.
