Meet donkey
Donkey is a 3-year-old tan Pit Bull (he tunes 3 in August 2026) he is 65 lbs just received his new yearly shots on July 27,2026. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly loving, affectionate, and always excited to be around the people he knows and trusts. Making the decision to rehome him has been extremely difficult, but I want him to have the life he deserves.
Donkey has lived with many dogs over the years because I frequently foster and dog sit. He is generally dog-friendly, but he needs slow, proper introductions to new dogs. He can live with another dog, but all meals must be fed separately and interactions around food should always be supervised. He has shown resource guarding with food. For example, he once tried to steal food from my 13-year-old foster dog and quickly nipped her during feeding. He does not guard his food from people and allows us to take his bowl without issue.
