Charlie A17198562 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old 💔 Charlie has clearly had a rough life… but somehow, he’s still just a good boy who wants to have fun. 💔-This sweet boy arrived looking like life hasn’t always been very kind to him. He’s very dirty, and he’s missing the tips of his ears from previous fly strike. It’s hard not to wonder what he’s been through or how long he had to fend for himself. 😔-But Charlie doesn’t seem to hold any of that against the world. -He was quietly resting at the front of his kennel when I came in, but as soon as he saw me, he hopped right up to say hello. He leashed easily and walked beautifully outside.-And then we got to see the real Charlie come out.-This boy LOVES toys! 🎾 He will fetch a tennis ball, bring it right back and drop it for you. He gets the cutest little zoomies and enjoys playing tug, too. Even when he’s chewing on his toys, he likes to bring them close so you can be part of the fun.-Charlie is also a good little gentleman for treats. He likes snacks, knows “sit,” and takes them gently.-His outside appearance may tell a story of neglect and hard times, but his sweet personality tells us there is still so much life and happiness left in this boy.-Charlie deserves a chance to finally know what it feels like to be clean, comfortable, loved and safe.
