Hallo! Meet mighty Norway! Norway is a 12 pound, 5 year old, male Brussel Griffon mix. Norway came to Second Chance SPCA in pretty rough shape. He was covered in fleas, losing hair, and losing hope. While TLC has fixed most of those issues, Norway has vision issues that will need some extra care to manage. Due to his vision issues, Norway gets around pretty slowly and is fairly timid on walks. Norway is the sweetest guy around, he loves nothing more than to sit in a lap all day. He is easy going, a fan of other dogs, and would probably be very respectful to a cat. Norway is a low maintainence dog who doesn`t ask for much, just a quiet home and unconditional love. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
