Meet Clyde, a sweet, affectionate boy with a heart as big as his smile. This handsome 3-year-old loves being with his people and is happiest when he's playing fetch, heading out for a walk, or soaking up affection.

Clyde has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven to be an easy companion. He's house-trained, crate-trained at bedtime (his crate will go home with his adopter), and already knows sit, shake, and come. He enjoys daily walks and is making great progress on his leash manners. He also gets along wonderfully with medium to large dogs and has done well with cats after slow, careful introductions.

Clyde recently underwent surgery to repair an eye injury and is recovering wonderfully. His sutures are scheduled to be removed on August 11, and he's expected to continue healing well. Through it all, he's remained the loving, resilient dog everyone has fallen for.
