Meet june bug
June Bug is ready for her happily ever after!
Some dogs leave paw prints on your heart the moment you meet them.
June Bug is one of those dogs.
When she first came into our care in June, she was fighting for her life. To save her, one of her legs had to be amputated thanks to the donations from this wonderful community. We didn't know what her future would hold. June Bug did.
She chose joy.
Today, she runs, plays, snuggles, and loves with her whole heart. Being a tripod doesn't slow her down one bit. She doesn't know she's different—she just knows she loves life.
Today, that same little girl is looking for the one thing we can't give her... a family.
Her foster says she's crate trained, potty trained, gentle when taking treats, has done wonderfully with people, and has never shown aggression. She would thrive in a quieter home with older children, as loud noises can still make her a little nervous.
The hardest part of June Bug's story isn't what she's been through.
It's that after everything she's overcome... she's still waiting for someone to choose her.
She has already fought for her second chance.
