Meet dottie*looking for an active, adventurous adopter*

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Dottie is a medium sized, 2yr old treeing walker hound mix. Dottie would be happiest if she got adopted by someone who is adventurous and active. She loves to be outside and run and sniff. She shows signs of being used for hunting in her past, as her treeing walker instincts are truly showing by baying by the trees in the yard. She'd love going for walks on trails or hiking. She'd be a great reason for you to get outside and stay active all year round.  She has the typical goofy, fun-loving hound attitude. Can be calm and relaxed and at other times lets out her hound voice! She is a dominant dog, and will show other dogs she is boss. As long as the other dog is more submissive she does just fine. She has been out in fence playing with pack of other foster dogs, again has done fine after she shows them she is the boss lady. Has been attentive and can be easily redirected. Comes when called, but at times her hound nose keeps her distracted. Dottie is a typical 2yr old dog, needing moderate to high levels of exercise. She was found as a stray and saved when skin-and-bones. She knows basic commands. She even gives big hugs! And she loves to get tummy scratches and show you all her dots!!
