Like many poodles, he's incredibly smart, loyal, and forms deep bonds with his people. But Lucca missed out on important socialization as a puppy, so the world can feel like a scary place. He needs a securely fenced yard, another confident dog in the home, and an adopter with experience managing fearful, flight-risk dogs. Lucca enjoys spending time outside, quietly exploring the yard, and once he trusts you, he'll seek you out for affection and companionship. This is not a dog who will be ready to take walks around the neighborhood on day one. He needs someone who understands that trust is earned through patience, consistency, and kindness.
