In fact, he was so tiny and underweight that we initially thought he was just a puppy. A closer look at those pearly whites told a different story—this little guy is all grown up. While he still needs to put on some healthy weight, his spirit has never missed a beat.Despite everything he`s been through, Casper is one of the happiest little dogs you`ll ever meet. His tail is always ready to wag, and he`s convinced that every person he meets is a potential new best friend. He`s incredibly affectionate and would happily volunteer for the position of Professional Lap Dog if you`ll let him.On walks, Casper approaches life with maximum enthusiasm and minimum direction. Sniff here! Look there! Ooh, what`s that?! He`s a bit of a zig-zagger and would definitely benefit from some basic leash training, but his joyful curiosity is part of his charm.Casper has been an absolute delight during his stay with us. He seems unfazed by the other dogs at the shelter, though his compatibility with dogs, cats, and children is currently unknown. As always, if you have a resident canine, a meet-and-greet is required to make sure everyone is a perfect match.Casper is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, which means you can welcome him home now while he finishes his veterinary care with the shelter.
