Meet evie
She was one of our very first shelter pulls back in 2021, rescued from a rural shelter in Newport, Arkansas. They reached out in desperation—the temperatures were about to drop dangerously low, and they weren’t equipped to keep their animals safe. Evie was just seven weeks old when we brought her into the warmth and safety she deserved.
She was adopted, loved, and later returned through no fault of her own after a divorce. Recently, she was brought back to us heartworm positive, but we’ve already started making plans to get her treated and healthy again.
We are currently looking for a place to crash so we can start her heartworm treatment.
