Meet Andy 💙
I don't remember how I got there...

All I knew was that the world was loud, scary, and exploding around me.

On the night of the Fourth of July, I was found running terrified across a busy street while fireworks lit up the sky. Every car that passed could have been my last. I was painfully thin, covered in flies, exhausted, and completely alone.

Someone stopped.
Someone cared.

A kind person scooped me up, took me home, and spent weeks searching for my family. They hoped someone would be missing me...that someone would come.

But no one ever did.

Instead of giving up on me, they gave me something I may have never known before—love.
They made sure I saw a veterinarian. They fed me until my tummy was full. They let me rest without being afraid. They showed me gentle hands, kind words, and what it feels like to finally be safe.

Now it's my turn to find the one thing I've never truly had...
A family of my own.

I'm about 1 year old, a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix, and weigh around 75 pounds (I'm still a little skinny and could use a few more pounds—and maybe a few extra treats!).

People say I'm a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart.

I can be a little shy when we first meet. After everything I've been through, I hope you understand. But once I know I'm safe with you, my sweet, goofy, loving personality starts to shine. I just want to be close to my people. I want to belong.

I am great with kids and super dog friendly too!

I'm not looking for a perfect family.
