Meet Hope!
Hope is the definition of a gentle, easygoing companion. If we had to describe her in three words, they’d be kind, happy, and affectionate.
She loves everyone she meets, whether they have two legs or four. Hope may wait for you to come to her or slowly approach on her own, but once you’ve shared a few pets, she’ll happily become your shadow. She’s affectionate without being needy and is just as content relaxing on her bed while you do your own thing as she is snuggled up beside you on the couch.
With her calm, low-energy personality, Hope enjoys leisurely walks and is a dream on leash. She never pulls and is much more interested in stopping to sniff than worrying about other dogs. She’s been sweet and submissive with the dogs she’s met and continues to grow more confident as she settles in. While she hasn’t been tested with cats, her gentle nature suggests she may do well with them.
Hope is both house-trained and crate-trained, knows sit, stay, and come, and has wonderful manners around the house—even at mealtime. She loves being petted, brushed, and spending quiet time with her people.
