Gabby's Story: From Surviving to Thriving
Meet Gabby! This precious girl recently arrived at the Germantown Animal Shelter after a terrifying ordeal—she was found alone on the side of the road and appears to have been struck by a car.
Despite her scary start, Gabby is proving to be incredibly resilient. We are so thankful to report that she miraculously has no broken bones or major wounds! Her injuries appear to be strictly soft tissue, and she is currently receiving excellent medical care. Best of all, she is doing very well and making great strides in her physical recovery.
Underneath her timid exterior is a gentle, incredibly sweet soul. Gabby is understandably a bit shy right now, but she is slowly and bravely learning to trust the people around her. She just needs a little extra patience, a soft touch, and a lot of love to show her that she is finally safe.
To help her heal both physically and emotionally, we would love to get Gabby out of the shelter environment and into a dedicated foster home or with a loving adopter who is ready to support her continued recovery. She is looking for a quiet, comforting space where she can rest, decompress, and realize how wonderful life can be.
