Meet Vernon (“Vernie”)!

At around 10 years old, this adorable little lowrider has mastered the art of taking life slow. Whether he’s stretched out on the couch, curled up in bed, or happily burrowed under a pile of blankets, Vernie is simply content being close to his people. Vernie was found as a stray in rough shape, battling a severe skin and ear infection while covered in fleas. Thanks to lots of TLC, he’s on the road to recovery and feeling better every day. Despite everything he’s been through, he has remained nothing but gentle, loving, and grateful.
He’s dog, cat, and kid friendly, making him an easy addition to just about any family. He’s already vaccinated, heartworm and tick disease negative, dewormed, microchipped, and will be neutered before adoption.
