We were contacted about several dogs in need of rescue who were living outdoors with very little shelter during a period of torrential rain and severe storms. Thankfully, Michael is now safe, thriving, and ready to find a loving family of his own.   This adorable is pure happiness wrapped up in four short legs. He’s the kind of dog who greets every day like it’s the best one ever, whether he’s zooming around the yard, launching himself onto the couch in a feat of questionable athleticism, or handing out enthusiastic kisses to everyone lucky enough to meet him. Michael is happiest when he’s with his people. He loves to cuddle, believes personal space is optional, and gives kisses like they’re his full-time job. If you’re looking for a little shadow who wants to be part of everything you do, Michael is ready to clock in. Michael enjoys being around other dogs and has done well with canine companions. Like many rescue dogs, though, he’s still working through some resource guarding. He’s made progress already and continues to learn, but he’ll need an adopter who understands that training is a journey. If he’ll be joining a home with other pets or children, slow introductions, patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help set everyone up for success. Michael is eager to please and has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion with someone willing to invest in him. After he’s finished showing off his acrobatic skills, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for a nap and remind you that he’s actually a world-class snuggler.
