A Dash of Spice and a Whole Lot of Nice!

If you're looking to add a little flavor to your life, meet the Spice Litter! These seven adorable mixed-breed puppies are serving up sweetness by the spoonful and are ready to start accepting applications for their future families.

Their story began when their mom, Coriander, a 55-pound terrier mix, arrived at ACCT Philly very pregnant and in need of a safe place to land. She was transferred to us, and just a few days later welcomed seven healthy puppies into the world. Now these little spices are thriving in foster care and growing up with everything young puppies could hope for - including other dogs, cats, and eight children of all ages helping them learn that the world is a pretty wonderful place.

At just six weeks old, these pups are happy, social, playful, and full of curiosity. While we don't know who dad was, we expect them to grow into medium-sized dogs based on Mom's size. They are currently accepting applications but won't be ready to head home until after August 14th, when they reach eight weeks of age. We will be scheduling adoption meets starting August 14th.

The Boys: Maldon, Paprika, Fennel, and Cayenne
The Girls: Clove, Saffron, and Sage

Whether you're looking for a puppy that's a little sweet, a little spicy, or somewhere in between, there's a flavor here for everyone. Just be warned: side effects of adopting one of these puppies may include excessive smiling, frequent puppy kisses, and an irresistible urge to buy way too many toys.

As with all puppies, they will need patient families committed to helping them grow into well-mannered adult dogs. We strongly recommend puppy training classes when age-appropriate, as early socialization and positive training are the secret ingredients for success.

And don't forget about their wonderful mom, Coriander, who is also looking for a forever home of her own. After raising seven tiny spice jars, she's more than earned a family to call her own.
