Meet mae
I rescued Mae from a shelter as a puppy, and she’s been my sidekick for two years. The shelter listed her as a German Shepherd mix, but she looks more like a lab mix to me — small, nimble, fast, and she loves to run and play. When she’s not zooming around, she’s curled up looking for pets.
She gets along well with some dogs but is wary of most, so a slow intro matters — a home with no other dogs, or one calm, easygoing dog, would suit her best. She’s never been around cats. She’s never shown aggression toward kids, but she plays rough, so older kids or no young kids would be ideal.
After starting full-time work, I don’t have the time or energy left that she needs, and she’s started acting out from boredom. She’s not a bad dog — she just needs someone with more time than I have right now.
I love her so much, which is why I want her to go somewhere she can get the attention and space to run she deserves.
