Meet daviserit / coral

Please go to our website at www.milehighlabmission.com to find out more about this pet and to submit an adoption application.  Please DO NOT call or email us; all information about current dogs available, adoption donations, vetting, and this specific dog are on our website. We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have. Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Personality | Super sweet and happy! Story | This litter was dumped in South Texas and taken in by a kind family. Their mom looks like a gorgeous, medium sized, Australian shepherd looking mix. Momma was adopted by the finders and they sent all the puppies to Colorado where they knew they'd find amazing homes! Based on the coloring of this litter and their momma, we think they may be a mix of golden retriever, Australian shepherd and probably a few other breeds! Since we don't know anything about dad's breed and can only make a guess on mom's breed, we can't confirm breeds for this litter. One thing we know for sure is they are some adorable fluffs!!Other Dogs | Great with other dogs! Cats | Young enough to do well with kitties with proper intros!Children | Young enough to do well with kind, respectful kiddos. Would love lots of snuggles and pets! If they are Australian shepherds as we suspect, they may be tempted to herd little kiddos and will need firm boundaries. Aussies can be amazing family pets but any interested adopters with small kids should research the breed and make sure they're fully prepared before committing to these puppies. Training | In progress. Each foster works with their pups individually. All puppies are working on crate training, potty training, leash training, and basic commands. Leash | Too little to leash walk, but will learn with time! Our rescue follows “No Paws on the Ground" (NPOG) as a safety protocol for young puppies, primarily used by veterinarians, shelters, and rescues. It means that an unvaccinated or partially vaccinated puppy should never be allowed to put their feet on the ground in any public or communal area where other dogs or animals may have been. These babies love to play in secure yards, and be snuggled and held on family walks.Activity Level | Moderate/High. Typical puppy who loves to play, nap, repeat! If they are Australian shepherd mixes then we expect to them to be higher energy dogs.Health Notes | Healthy and Happy :)Thank you! Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!August 7, 2026, 2:11 am
