monkee

I am 8 yo from Puerto Rico. My parents got me as a puppy about 2 months old. I was living in the streets on the side of a highway in the cinder blocks. People used to try to shoot me for target practice.
A lady came and saved me. Brought me to the United States and my dad adopted me. I was very scared of people and they called me feral. So my dad named me Monkee. It took about a year before I got to start sleeping without a crate at night. Even though I loved my crate I kept it as a bedroom and would still relax in it. But my parents quit locking the door.
I love my sister Baylee. I always pee outside and I love to cuddle now. But usually prefer my time in my bed.
I know how to wrap myself up in a blanket like a burrito all by myself.
I don't jump on people, but if you're sitting on the couch I will probably come and lay my head in your lap and demand attention!
My dad got very sick and now my mom and dad have to move and cannot keep us. I love playing with other dogs too.
