Meet Wilson! 🖤🐾
Wilson is a 4-year-old Rottweiler with the kind of loyal, gentle personality that makes so many people fall in love with the breed.
He had poor nutrition during his puppy years, which caused overextension in the ligaments of his front wrists. The good news? It doesn’t slow him down one bit. He runs, plays, and enjoys life like any other dog, and his mobility may even continue to improve over time.
True to his breed, Wilson is happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to lean into you for pets and quietly soak up attention. He’s submissive and social with other dogs and would truly thrive with a canine sibling to show him the ropes. He also ignores cats, is crate trained, and has wonderfully polite house manners.
If you’ve loved a Rottweiler before, you’ll recognize that steady, devoted heart. And if you’ve never experienced the breed, Wilson might just be the dog who changes your mind.
Wilson is ready to find the family that sees just how special he is.
ADOPTION PROCESS
1. Review our adoption contract and application.
2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.
3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below:

Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat
It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed.
