Meet minnie

Meet Minnie – The Sweetest Little Meatball Looking for Her Happy Ending ❤️ If love came wrapped in a 100-pound American Bully with wiggly hips, floppy jowls, two different colored eyes, and a toy in her mouth... you'd have Minnie. At around 3 years old, Minnie has already experienced more than any dog should. She and her sister were kept as junkyard dogs, and after a fight where Minnie was the one injured, she ended up in the shelter while her sister stayed behind. Despite that heartbreaking start, Minnie has never lost her ability to trust and love. Her current family rescued her from the Prince George's County shelter, helped her recover from kennel cough, and patiently showed her what it means to be safe, cherished, and part of a family. Watching her transform into the happy, goofy girl she is today has been incredible. Minnie is the definition of a cuddle bug. She follows her people from room to room, adores sleeping in bed, loves giving morning kisses, and believes personal space is highly overrated. She'll happily spend the afternoon sunbathing on the deck, then surprise everyone with joyful evening zoomies before settling in with her favorite toy. Speaking of toys... Minnie has 'her spots' around the house. She carefully picks out a collection of favorites from the toy bin and carries them wherever she's decided to lounge. You can always tell where she's been by the adorable trail of half-shredded toys she leaves behind. And when her people come home? Get ready for full-body wiggles. She proudly greets everyone by carrying one of her treasured toys, showing it off like she's bringing you the greatest gift in the world. Minnie is house-trained, loves car rides, enjoys playing in the hose or kiddie pool, knows several commands, loves brushing her teeth, and is happiest simply being near the people she loves. She also does well with larger dogs after proper introductions and has lived peacefully with other dogs, often taking cues from them. Because of her past, Minnie isn't a fan of being crated or confined, and loud, chaotic homes can make her anxious. She would thrive in a quieter home with a fenced yard, someone home much of the day, and ideally another medium or large dog to be her buddy. Minnie cannot live with cats or other small animals. After a tragic incident involving the family's cat, her owners made the heartbreaking decision that the safest and kindest choice is to find her a cat-free home. They are committed to making sure she never has to return to the shelter and are determined to find the loving forever family she deserves. Her family says it best: Minnie deserves all the soft beds, toys, treats, kindness, and unconditional love that life can offer. She's affectionate, loyal, goofy, gentle with her people, and ready to spend the rest of her life making someone smile every single day. If you're looking for a best friend who will greet you with happy wiggles, share your bed, ride shotgun on adventures, and love you with her whole heart, Minnie may just be the missing piece of your family.
