  Meet Delta Dawn – An important adoption offering to give a fresh  new beginning to a sweet French Bulldog Sometimes, you simply have to be there when life changes in an instant.This past Sunday, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in to help with an unusual rescue mission, welcoming 12 French Bulldogs into our foster care, after a breeder closed their doors. Considering what we often see in breeder surrenders, these dogs arrived in remarkably good condition. Now, it's our turn to help them discover what it truly means to be loved.Delta Dawn is one of those precious souls.  At just 2 years old and weighing approximately 20–24 pounds, this beautiful light fawn-and-white Frenchie is understandably scared and timid. She'll tremble a little when meeting someone new, but once she realizes she's safe, she'll quietly seek comfort, sitting faithfully at your feet and asking only for reassurance and gentle love.  You can see in her eyes that she has never experienced kindness and love in her previous puppy mill life. Delta Dawn has never been someone's cherished companion and wex are looking for someone to change that for her.. She has spent her entire life in a breeder that practiced more like a puppy mill. Its the only home she has ever known. Whether that life was good or not, it was familiar, and leaving it behind has been a big adjustment.But this is the start of a wonderful new chapter.She's now been fully vetted—spayed (no more puppies!), vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative—thankfully!), dewormed, and treated to a much-needed bath. Now all she needs is the family who will show her that life can be filled with kindness, security, and unconditional love.Because she's a French Bulldog, Delta Dawn is looking for a Frenchie-savvy adopter who understands the breed's special needs. French Bulldogs thrive in cool environments, should avoid overheating, and benefit from careful monitoring of their breathing and eye health as they age.Behind her timid nature is a sweet, loving little girl who simply needs patience, encouragement, and someone willing to help her build confidence.
