I'm crying as I write. Roxy is the best dog I've ever owned. She is loyal, loving and very intelligent. She'll be 11 years old in August. She lived her whole life in my home with me with a huge backyard to run around in. She had full run of my house, very rarely had accidents and never destroyed anything. I just retired and moved. I am living in a 1 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. Roxy is miserable. On the 4th of July I hired someone on Rover.com. They had a huge yard and a couple of huskies. He kept telling me how happy she was sniffing around and playing. When I got her home she went back to being listless and sad. I think she needs a larger yard. Also, about 2 years ago she developed an infiltrative lipoma on her right shoulder. It doesn't hurt her, but it is effecting her mobility. Every time I need to take her outside to use the restroom, I have to put her in a stroller or carry her. I want her remaining years to be happy and active. I will drive her to you up to 100 miles.
