Ralf has the cutest little whiskers and those loving brown eyes will really get you! He is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 48 pounds.

Meet Ralf, a fun-spirited and friendly young boy who's dreaming of a home with a family to love. This smart and energetic pup is a true go-getter, always up for an adventure and you can just see it in him, he is really wanting and ready to learn. Ralf is already a pro at sitting on command and is absolutely craving guidance, leadership and attention from his people. He needs an active and engaging home where his family wants to spend time with him. He's also a big fan of belly rubs and toys, he is truly just a lot of fun. And he just loves it when we set up the kiddy pool at the rescue. Ralp is "a diamond in the ruff" and is ready to blossom, he just needs a little work on basic manners, especially for jumping up for attention. He does great in the car and makes a fabulous copilot, he is ready to go with you anywhere! Could you be the one to give this amazing boy the structure and love he needs? With his playful spirit and loving nature, Ralf is going to make someone such a wonderful best friend. He will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old.

Ralf has been chosen for an exciting adventure this month, The Lodge for Pampered Pets in Metamora works with a few rescues in the area, with K9 Stray Rescue being one of them. They have a Stay and Play Program, where a rescue dog gets to go there for the day for a few weeks and play all day with the other dogs attending doggy daycare, and they even sometimes have sleepovers. The pups are pampered by the employees with enrichment, spa treatments and love. Ralph passed his temperament test with flying colors and has been having so much fun.
