Meet golden boy
Golden Boy is a 3-year-old, 58-pound Lab mix with a big personality, lots of energy and an equally big heart. Golden Boy came to the shelter as a stray, and we later learned that his owner had passed away. Despite such a big change in his life, he has continued to show us what a sweet, happy guy he is.Golden Boy has had good interactions with other dogs and currently shares a kennel with his buddy, Missy. He’s an active guy who loves getting outside to explore, run around and chase squirrels. During his Dog’s Day Out, he enjoyed a trip to the park, a pup cup and plenty of time to stretch his legs. But once it was time to relax, Golden Boy was perfectly happy to curl up with his person and rest. He’s treat-motivated, curious and always ready for his next adventure. If you’re looking for a dog who can keep up with you outside but is also happy to settle in for some quality couch time afterward, Golden Boy could be your guy.
