Diagnosed July 2026 with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) & is responding well to treatment & regaining weight. This requires daily prescriptions for the rest of her life including PancreVed Powder (vital digestive enzymes her pancreas fails to produce naturally) mixed with every meal & Cobalequin (B12) as well as long term allergy medication Numelvi (or Apoquel) for skin allergies. Takes monthly preventive SimpariTrio. She is usually separated from pets for meals & treats due to occasional reactive, aggressive food guarding. Otherwise, loves dogs, children, & lived for a brief time with cat. Wants to be in your lap or by your side. Loves walks, snuggles, car rides. Kennel trained overnight, when alone & when eating. Trained to use doorbell & electric fence & training to use a new exterior dog door due to recent potty accidents/urgency. Responds to: “Sit, Stay. Come. Off. Kennel. No. Treat? Hungry?” Nothing motivates her more than food.
