Meet Zella!

Zella is a sweet, gentle puppy with a resilient spirit who is ready to find the loving family she's always deserved. Born on approximately March 1, 2026, she is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog and is looking for a patient home where she can continue to build her confidence and blossom.

Zella's story began on the streets of Nexquipayac, Mexico, where she was born to a stray mother who had never been given the opportunity to be spayed. When she was just one month old, Zella and her brother were abandoned in an empty lot filled with debris, left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they were found before it was too late, and the dedicated volunteers at Happy Pawtitas gave them the second chance they deserved.

Since her rescue, Zella has received all the care she needed to thrive. She is fully vaccinated, including rabies, dewormed, spayed, healthy, and ready to find her forever home.

While Zella can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for her affectionate personality to shine through. Once she feels safe, she loves giving kisses, playing fetch, bouncing around the yard, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying mealtime. Like any young puppy, she's curious, playful, and occasionally a little mischievous, making her a wonderful companion for a family ready to help her learn and grow.

Zella will thrive with a family that understands puppies need patience, consistency, and positive training. She is eager to learn and has all the potential to become a loyal, loving companion for years to come.
