Meet sammy
This little guy is neutered and healthy! He is up to date on vaccines. He is also microchipped!
💧: Housebroken - Yes!
🏠 : Crate Training - He has done well with free roam when home alone
🚶: Leash walking - Working on it! He has only seemed comfortable when walking with his dog BFFs, and will need to keep working on his confidence!
🐶: Dog-friendly - He LOVES other dogs, and looks to them for comfort and confidence. Because of this, he is required to go to a home with another resident dog.
😺: Cat-friendly - Unknown, but he has shown interest in chasing his foster's bunny
🧒 Kid-friendly - Not a match, as he can be quite fearful of strangers and needs a slow approach
Sammy is a dog's dog. He thrives in the company of other dogs and wants to do everything that they do. He is making big strides in warming up to people but is still quite nervous and prefers not to be pet. However, he is a happy little guy when he is with his dog friends and will self-entertain with toys. He is still learning about the world, and is always cautious but curious. By the end of the day he has always taken every single toy out of the toy basket. He loves to "help" with laundry and you may find your socks in some weird places. He also loves just curling up in his dog bed and laying by your feet while you're working or relaxing. He enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood with his dog besties, and/or hanging out in the backyard.
💰 Sammy's adoption fee is $300, and he will make a great addition to his future home!
