Brogan is a 1-year-old Dachshund mix and is a small size of 18 pounds. He came from an awful situation, and he is a shy boy because of it. Brogan is now on the path of finding a home that will deliver lots of patience and commitment to Brogan as he adjusts to a new life. Brogan will absolutely need a quiet home where he can find space and comfort in his own time frame to feel more confident. He is good with dogs and older, respectfully calm children. He will also need a confident and calm family dog in the house to be his personal influencer in finding and building confidence. His relationship with cats is unknown at this time. With the right tools for his use, Brogan is sure to flourish and show his family what a great, confident boy he was always meant to be.He is putting in the work of learning his house, crate and leash training skills. With consistence and positive reinforcement, Brogan will be a champ in a short amount of time. Due to his shyness with people and handling, Brogan requires a fenced yard since leash walking is currently very scary for him.
