Meet nellie
Nellie is a smart, affectionate Cockapoo puppy born on April 3, 2026. Rescued from the commercial pet trade, this 8.6-pound little lady is now discovering toys, children, zoomies and the critically important art of snuggling.
She lives with children ages 3, 6, 13 and 16 and does wonderfully with them. Nellie loves balls, squeaky toys, sniff mats and anything she can chase. She is active but not over the top and settles beautifully when playtime ends.
Nellie knows sit and down and is learning stay, come, shake and fetch. Potty training is still in progress; she uses pads indoors and does well when taken outside. She has done well with small, large, older and male dogs, but her foster form reports she is not good with female dogs. Cats are unknown.
Nellie is playful, clever, cuddly and just dramatic enough to keep life interesting.
