Meet baloo
We brought him home when he was 8 weeks old, and will be 3 years old on December 2. He is a loyal, affectionate dog who loves spending time with his people, especially if toys/treats are involved. He enjoys learning and knows several basic commands and tricks that we’ve taught him through training at home.
We’re looking for a patient, experienced owner who understands that he needs time to build trust and confidence. He can be nervous around unfamiliar people and has a bite history from when he was younger, so he needs someone who is comfortable managing those behaviors and providing structure and consistency. He does not do well with small animals. He has done well with a few dogs around his size after proper introductions, but we are unsure how he would do with new dogs or children.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, but we want him to have the opportunity to thrive in a home that can meet his needs. We know he has so much love to give to the right family.
