Turnip is a sweet Boston Terrier mix, around 1 year old, who is ready to start the next chapter of his life surrounded by love and care. This little guy has already overcome so much and is proof of just how resilient rescue dogs can be.

Turnip came into rescue alongside Rhubarb with one of the worst cases of skin issues and neglect we had seen in a long time. Thanks to the incredible support and generosity of our community, Turnip received the care he needed and is feeling so much better! His transformation has been amazing, and now he’s ready to find the family who will show him what being loved forever truly means.

Turnip is working on his potty training and is doing well. He is also learning his leash manners and continues to make progress every day. He gets along with other dogs and does great with kids, making him a wonderful companion for a family ready to help him continue learning.

This handsome boy is a total sweetheart who absolutely loves his people. Turnip is happiest when he’s close to his humans—whether that means snuggling on the couch or soaking up all the attention he can get. His favorite things include small crinkly toys, cozy cuddles, and being near the people he loves.

Turnip is not a fan of his crate and can struggle when he is separated from his people. When he isn’t with his humans, he can become sad and cry, so he would do best in a home where someone is around often and where he can continue building confidence with being alone.

Turnip has been through a lot, but despite his difficult past, he remains a loving, affectionate pup who just wants to feel safe and cherished. He is looking for a family willing to continue his training, be patient with his separation anxiety, and give him the security he has always deserved.
