She has been used for breeding, so her teeth have suffered(they leach calcium from the teeth to grow babies when they are bred a lot). She is as sweet as the day is long and loves hard. I do prefer breed experience with this breed as they can be a lot for a person who really needs a Shih Tzu. She was also matted, so she had to be shaved.  She is fine with my other dogs, but she sure tells them off, all talk, no action. Another female dog may not be wise, unless you have some knowledge of how to control the jealousy and female bit**yness. She is housebroken! yes my fees have gone up! So has everything I touch, dog food alone has gone from $60-$95.. a bag. Still less than most vets would charge for the same procedures. Spayed/dental/HW test, parasite control.
