She has the cutest ears that mostly stand up but then flop over at the very top. Her little tail curls up when she walks around. She is very smart. She learned sit and down in 10 minutes. When she first got to my house she explored every nook and cranny. She did great meeting my dogs. She wanted to smell them but then lost interest. I'm convinced she knows her name already despite her short time in rescue. She loves treats and is very food motivated. She doesn't seem to be interested in toys but loves chews like cow hoofs. She also loves a kong with peanut butter. Penelope is showing signs of being potty trained. She has been using the potty outside and hasn't had an accident in over 2 weeks. Penelope is amazing with all dogs. She has not met a cat to our knowledge. Penelope would do best in a home with older kids. She is very friendly and seeks out attention in her own time. She is a girls girl and never lets her people go to the potty by themself. She follows you around with her adorable ears and soulful eyes locked on you at all times. She would love to be someone's companion dog. She sleeps in her crate at night. She will softly whine when first crated but settles and goes to sleep once you are in bed. So far Penelope is a relatively quiet dog. She will softly whine but I haven't heard her bark. She loves to lay at her people's feet or cuddle on the couch.  She suffers from mild allergies which can easily be treated with one pill a day. She also gets car sick which is completely preventable when given an anti-nausea pill one hour before car rides! Penelope is fully vaccinated, spayed, and ready for adoption. ************************************************************ The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.
