Maverick is a Gorgeous dog and so majestic in his nature. If you are a calm but assertive person looking for a wonderful dog companion, MAV could be your guy. Maverick was saved from a backyard with other huskies. He is only about 3 to 3.5 years old at most. Most of his young life he has had to make decisions. He kept the pack in order and not because he was trying to lead but because the puppies all flocked to him and looked to him for guidance and protection.
Maverick is now with a foster family that has relieved him of feeling like he has duties and he can now just be a dog. He has a playful side. He gets goofy. He is still very friendly with other dogs and kids but he is also perfectly content clocking out, relaxing and being a passenger.
