Maverick is a handsome, approximately 3-year-old Shiba Inu with the sweetest, gentlest personality. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves to play and cuddle, Maverick may be your perfect match!
This smart boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and eager to please. While he appreciates a little encouragement to go into his crate, he settles in well once he's inside. He's also working on his leash manners and enjoys taking long walks where he can stop and sniff until he finds the perfect spot. A home with a fenced backyard would be a wonderful bonus for him.
Maverick loves his toys and is just as happy playing by himself as he is playing with his people. He's still discovering how wonderful the couch can be, so he may need a little encouragement to hop up beside you. Once he does, get ready for the sweetest cuddles and the gentlest kisses—he's a true sweetheart.
Maverick is more at ease with women than men right now (he's just a little hesitant and skittish with men), but with patience and time, he learns to warm up to them.
