- Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; will love regular exercise in the form of walks, hikes, playtime or other fun things - Loves meeting new people and will greet them with love, kisses and excited tail wags - just a very happy and curious dog - Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip: "Dobby was so happy and excited and such a good boy. He's very sweet and loving, and he loved cuddles and praise. He was so good in the car. He is super curious and loved seeing new places." - Once he has burned off some energy, he's ready to chill and is super cuddly - Will sit and lay down for a treat - Does best with a harness on walks; may pull at first, but he adjusts well and is very trainable- Has done very well with children he has met on outings - enjoys being petted and has been very gentle - Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended) The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
