Meet Roam, our hunka burnin love.Roam is a 6 year old, 22 lb King Charles Cavalier who is looking for his forever home. Ontop of his stunningly good looks, he is a mill survivor and that puts the cherrie on top.He is learning the world now that he's out of a cage and is doing so with such zest and curiosity. He's silly, happy, affectionate, and super smart.In his new home, Roam would do best being the only dog because his life was so isolated, he doesn't know if another dog is safe to be around. In his foster home, he has several other dogs around him and he does really good with them and enjoys their company, even learning many life skills from them, but there are times when he second guesses their intentions and can become insecure. He has not been exposed to kitties.He would love a home with a family who is home more often than not. One with gentle older children, a toy box with his name on it, and patience and understanding to help him grow into this new life outside of a cage.Roam will snap out of a deep sleep when his foster mom sings and thinks it's the greatest thing ever. His hall pass is Ella Langley, so if you can sing her songs on the daily, he'll be a happy man.We're proud to say he hasn't had an accident in the house for 2 weeks, but will need to stay on a schedule to continue his progress.A fenced yard is ideal for his safety.If you would like to add this happy hunk to your home, he would love to meet you.Roam is neutered, has had a dental, up to date on vaccines, blood work completed and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $350.He is fostered in Delavan, WIAlbert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog.
