Meet maverick
Maverick is a 4-month-old mixed-breed neutered and fully vaccinated puppy we adopted from the shelter. He is a sweet, affectionate, food-motivated puppy who loves being with his people and has already started learning basic commands and crate skills using positive reinforcement.Maverick is a high-energy puppy who needs a very active home with someone who has plenty of time to devote to training, exercise, enrichment, and helping him learn to settle. Even when he’s tired, he has a hard time relaxing and currently needs a quiet, low-stimulation environment to nap. He is also still building confidence around other dogs. He has done well with calm, gentle dogs but can become fearful of energetic play and would benefit from slow, positive introductions.We love Maverick very much, but because of changes in our life circumstances, we cannot give him the time and consistency he deserves. We want him to find a home where he can truly thrive.
