Banks- 5 Year Old Carolina DogBanks is a 5-year-old, neutered Carolina Dog looking for the right forever home. We found him as a stray, and when first came to us, he was very nervous around everyone except me. As he settled in and learned to trust us, his affectionate personality really shined.Banks loves to cuddle, curl up in your lap, and be close to his person. He forms strong bonds with his family, is house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along well with other dogs.We are looking to rehome Banks because he has become overly protective of the kids. When a child is playing sometimes he perceives they are in danger and tries to nip them. For that reason we believe Banks would do best in a home with out young children, where his protective nature can be managed and redirected.Banks would also benefit from continued training to help with counter surfing and barking. This in an incredibly difficult decision. But we think in the right home with continued training, he could be a good dog.
