Oreo arrives in Wisconsin on August 2nd.
Oreo is an adorable pug with the classic pug personality that makes this breed so loved. Because pugs have unique personalities and medical needs, Oreo requires an adopter who has previous experience owning pugs and understands their specific care requirements. In his Texas foster home, he has experience living with lots of other dogs and is used to using a dog door, which is common in Texas. Oreo is a happy boy who is ready to find a forever home with someone who appreciates all the wonderful qualities of this special breed.
Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
