Meet maple
Maple is a little bit over 2 years old (DOB 4/16/24). She's roughly 70lbs and an energetic mix of various herding/working breeds. The primary cause for rehoming is Maple's unpredictable and erratic behavior around younger children. Maple has never shown outright aggression towards a child, but is easily excitable and her herding behavior comes out sometimes with smaller children.
I adopted Maple at 8 weeks from a shelter. She and her litter were relocated from the south. She is house trained, crate trained (though she generally has free range at night), knows "place" and other basic commands. She's a fairly anxious dog and is wary of attention from strangers, specifically men (unless they have a dog). She loves dogs but there's been instances of resource guarding leading to aggression towards dogs at the dog park when she was yonger. She's not a big cuddler but will show affection in small ways (going between legs). Ideal new home would be a single owner/couple without kids and a yard
