ANNA IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER FOR ABOUT A MONTH UNTIL HER SPAY APPT (WHICH WILL BE IN ELLICOTT CITY, MD SO FOSTER HOME MUST BE WITHIN AN HOUR AND FOSTER FAMILY MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE HER TO APPT). FOSTER FAMILY WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY CONSIDERATION FOR PERMANENT ADOPTION AFTER SPAYMeet Anna, a very sweet and loving mixed breed adult estimated to be about 2 years old and under 10 pounds. We think we see a mix of some yorkie, some shih tzu, maybe a touch of dachshund and who knows what else. She was picked up as a stray in Texas and was so terrified in the pound that they were ready to euthanize her but one of our volunteers pulled her just in the nick of time. Anna immediately showed her what a darling dog she truly is. Housebroken, so well behaved, has gotten along with multiple size dogs. She is perfect in every way (except one-she hates a crate, but has proven that she does well left out while person is gone).Looking for foster because she cannot be spayed for about a month, Foster home will need to bring her to her spay appt in Ellicott City or Columbia (date is not set yet).PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter.
