Meet pepper
Pepper was abandoned with us about a year ago by her previous owner, who threatened to euthanize her if no one at the hotel took her. She was underweight, fearful, and showed signs of possible past abuse. My boyfriend took her in to give her a second chance, even knowing he couldn’t be her forever home.
Unfortunately, due to financial hardship and having to leave our hotel for housing that doesn’t allow pets, we URGENTLY need to find Pepper the right family.
She is incredibly loving, affectionate, and a total cuddle bug with people. However, she is highly reactive and fearful of other dogs and needs to be the only pet in an experienced home. Her only bite incident with a person occurred when someone was breaking up a dog fight after Pepper got loose from a friend walking her. We want to be completely honest so we can find the safest, best match for her.
Pepper deserves a patient, understanding home where she can finally feel safe and loved for the rest of her life.
