Decker was adopted from a shelter at 6 months and we've had him for the past 8 years. He was the perfect dog while we lived out west and were able to go on hikes and adventures 24/7. Life circumstances have changed for me and unfortunately we can no longer give him the life he needs. I've moved back to TN, gotten married and recently had a daughter. While I would love to be able to keep him, we no longer have free time to take him on walks, and give him the tremendous amount of exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Also, he has become extremely possessive over me, to the point where he barks at my wife when she enters the room around the baby. That's just not something we can tolerate. We've tried training and positive reinforcement but nothing works.

Behavioral Issues: He is a dog that is EXTREMELY attached to his owner. If he doesn't have regular exercise and stimulation, he can become VERY destructive at home. He needs wide open spaces and constant exercise
