Meet candace
This calm and gentle girl is Candace. She was picked up by one of our officers on 7/11 as a stray and brought to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. She weighs 47 pounds and is about one and a half years old. My Dog Scanner suggests these possible breeds in her mix: Kuvasz, Golden Retriever, Lab/Retriever and Great Pyrenees. She is a beautiful girl with imploring golden eyes. She is submissive and compliant, well mannered and has a chill personality. She is “off the charts” sweet. She walks nicely on a leash. Candace is friendly, affectionate, loved being petted and wanted to stay very close! You can see from her pics that she has some fur missing from her nose and she was covered in fleas upon arrival. She was given a flea tablet to take care of that issue. She was not interested in the treats I offered her, nor the toys and balls I surrounded her with! This girl really captured my heart,
