Meet ripley (cp)
This sweet 7-year-old petite bulldog mix weighs just 35 pounds, but she’s packed a lifetime of love into that little body.
Ripley has clearly been overbred, and her back legs are a little wonky (though they don’t seem to slow her down or cause her any pain). When she arrived at the shelter, she was battling severe skin issues that are already improving, and she’s also started treatment for heartworms.
Today was supposed to be the end of her story. She was scheduled for euthanasia, but the shelter reached out hoping we could help… and honestly, how could we say no? Just look at that face.
Ripley absolutely ADORES people. She’ll immediately roll over for belly rubs, and if you dare stop, she’ll give you the funniest side-eye until you start again. She’s wonderful with other dogs, playful, and respectful—giving appropriate corrections when needed.
Now all Ripley wants is what she’s always deserved: a family of her own and a cozy couch to spend her retirement years on. Her fur is growing back, her smile gets brighter every day, and her heart is pure gold.
