Meet ozzie
Please help us find the perfect home for Ozzy.
This is a post I never imagined I’d have to write, and it absolutely breaks our hearts.
Ozzy is a 6-year-old Plott Hound who is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is a loving, affectionate boy whose favorite place is right beside his people. He loves to cuddle, is house-trained, knows basic commands (sit and down), and has excellent recall. In open areas, he loves to play ball and can be trusted off leash, always returning when called. He is incredibly intuitive to people’s emotions and simply wants to be with the people he loves.
We want to be completely honest about why we’re rehoming him. A few weeks ago, Ozzy was sound asleep when our young grandson accidentally leaned his head onto him. Ozzy woke up startle and bit my grandson in the face. No stitches or anything but it scared the crap out of my grandson. Now he is terrified of the dog and he comes here a lot. So we have to rehome him.
